In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors. For Team or Enterprise organizations, an Owner adds the connector from Organization settings, then members connect it from their own connector settings.
Select the add control, choose Add custom connector, name it Community Aviation Tools, and paste the MCP server URL shown above.
Click Add, then complete the OAuth sign-in flow. Claude will use the authorization server metadata exposed by this server to request access.
Start a new Claude chat, open the connector picker from the compose bar, and turn on Community Aviation Tools for the conversation.
Try a request that needs aviation data. Claude can call tools for airport details, decoded METAR and TAF, active NOTAMs, pilot reports, SIGMETs, G-AIRMETs, winds aloft, chart content, and distance calculations.
Example prompt: Using Community Aviation Tools, summarize the current weather, TAF, and active NOTAMs for KSFO.
